AYUSH Department Organizes Awareness-cum-Medical Aid Camp at AHWC Chuchatar

Ramban, June 5: A comprehensive Awareness-cum-Medical Aid Camp was organized today at Ayush Health & Wellness Centre (AHWC) Chuchatar by the dedicated staff under the supervision of Dr. Masood Iqbal. The camp aimed at promoting preventive healthcare and holistic wellness through Ayurvedic principles and lifestyle awareness.

The camp held in line with the directions of Deputy Commissioner Ramban Baseer-Ul-Haq Chaudhary, included a free medical health check-up, distribution of AYUSH medicines for both common and specific ailments, and screening for Non-Communicable Diseases (NCDs). A special awareness session was held on the prevention of latent tuberculosis through Ayurvedic interventions, highlighting traditional methods and preventive approaches.

Citizens availed themselves of valuable guidance on managing lifestyle-related disorders, dietary practices, and the significance of integrating AYUSH therapies into daily health routines. The camp witnessed encouraging participation from the local population and reaffirmed the growing acceptance of traditional medicine systems in rural healthcare delivery.

In parallel, the AYUSH Department, in collaboration with NGO WORKA, also organized a Dental Check-up Camp at AHWC Chuchatar. Dental Surgeon Dr. Farhana conducted thorough oral examinations and delivered an informative lecture focusing on the importance of dental hygiene. She emphasized the role of daily oral care in preventing common dental problems and encouraged proactive dental habits among attendees.

The dual-camp initiative marked a successful step toward improving public health awareness and access to essential healthcare services in remote areas of Ramban. The Department reiterated its commitment to delivering holistic care and preventive health services at the grassroots level.
