Jammu recently welcomed an innovative milestone in hearing care as Hearing Help Pvt Ltd and WS Audiology (WSA) unveiled the new BestSound Center (BSC) 3.0. This launch, celebrated on October 16, 2026, signifies a remarkable step towards increasing access to quality hearing solutions for residents in northern India.

Located at 17-A/D, Near District Police Lines, Gandhi Nagar, Jammu-J&K-180004, this center is designed to offer a consumer-friendly approach to hearing care, steering away from the conventional clinical methods. The BestSound Center aims to bridge the gap between expert services and patient comfort, heralding a new era in audiological solutions.

To kickstart the facility’s operations, WSA partnered with Suryoday Foundation to donate 150 hearing aids to 75 underprivileged individuals in Jammu. This initiative exemplifies their shared vision of delivering hearing care to those who need it most, thereby fostering a sense of community engagement and support.

The urgent need for enhanced hearing care in Jammu becomes clearer when considering that approximately 63 million people across India experience significant auditory challenges. With global statistics projecting that 430 million people have disabling hearing loss, improving accessibility is crucial. Stigma, awareness deficits, and cost often prevent individuals from seeking necessary help, particularly in rural areas.

“We believe that everyone should have equal access to hearing care, irrespective of their location or financial situation,” stated Mr. Avinash Pawar, Managing Director and CEO of WSA India. “With the launch of BSC 3.0, Jammu & Kashmir residents will now experience the same high standards of care and technology available globally, enabling them to reconnect with their families and communities.”

The BestSound Center features an inviting and interactive design, incorporating dedicated spaces for diagnostics, counseling, product trials, and aftercare services. Visitors will no longer feel the confines of a medical office; they can explore a range of hearing solutions in an engaging environment. Highly trained professionals will assist clients through each step, from evaluations to the selection of appropriate hearing devices.

A key offering at the center includes two premium hearing aid brands: Signia and Widex. Signia stands out with its advanced technology for superior clarity in noisy settings, whereas Widex provides a more natural sound experience. This variety enables a more personalized fitting process, tailored to individual listener preferences and requirements.

“Our collaboration with WSA to establish the BestSound Center has been very rewarding,” remarked Mr. John Zargar, Managing Director and CEO of Hearing Help Pvt Ltd. “We have witnessed many local residents travel long distances for advanced hearing solutions. This center is designed to change that narrative and elevate community awareness about the importance of hearing care.”

Working hand in hand, WSA and Suryoday Foundation have identified and supported 75 low-income individuals who would otherwise lack access to essential treatment. Expert audiologists conducted evaluations and helped fit each recipient with the provided hearing aids, a gesture designed to eliminate financial barriers associated with hearing care.

Untreated hearing loss can lead to significant social isolation, hampering conversations and reducing one’s ability to participate fully in work and community life. The BestSound Center aims not only to provide devices but also to ensure ongoing support and care for beneficiaries, helping them adapt and thrive.

“Hearing health should not be a privilege but a right for everyone,” emphasized Mr. Pawar. “Through our efforts with Hearing Help and Suryoday Foundation, we are on a transformative mission in Jammu, enabling individuals to reconnect with their social circles.”

“The families we reached today best represent the community spirit that our center champions,” concluded Mr. Zargar. “We are committed to delivering continuous care and expanding our outreach through awareness programs across Jammu and its surrounding areas.”

This initiative by WS Audiology and Hearing Help aims to inspire the people of Jammu & Kashmir to proactively pursue better hearing health, revealing how timely intervention can significantly uplift individual lives.
